Certified Athletic Trainers
Youth, High School, Collegiate, & Professional Sports in New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania
SD Gameday provides qualified medical care for high school and youth sporting events that would usually occur without a Certified Athletic Trainer present. All of our athletic trainers are certified by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer. Our athletic trainers are licensed by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, certified by the New Jersey Department of Education, certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine and/or registered by the New York State Education Department. In addition, SD Gameday provides ImPact Baseline Concussion Testing. We are fully mobile and will bring all supplies necessary for testing to the site of your choosing.
Qualified Medical Care for Sporting Events
All Certified Athletic Trainers are licensed by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine and/or registered by the New York State Education Department
SD Gameday was established to provide qualified medical care for any sporting events that would otherwise occur without a Certified Athletic Trainer present. Unfortunately, a great number of sporting events and camps operate year after year without the proper medical personnel.
Medical issues and injuries at sporting events are seen on the evening news and read about in the newspaper on a regular basis. Athletic Trainers are experts in the recognition and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries including, but not limited to, sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations, and contusions. Additionally, complications from various medical conditions such as concussions, heat illnesses, muscle cramps and various other medical conditions can turn into a dangerous situation if not properly managed. Athletic Trainers are qualified to treat and manage such incidents, but are often not able to be present due to conflicting events at multiple sites. Unfortunately, many organizations do not provide proper medical personnel, such as Certified Athletic Trainers, at competitive sporting events. At SD Gameday, we are passionate about making sure athletes at all levels stay safe and healthy while participating in the sports they love. Injuries can and do occur, but there are proactive steps that can be taken to minimize risk.
